Monday Mornings 10.00-12.00

These sessions are drop in so don't worry if you are late or need to leave earlier.

We start with free play where the children are encouraged to explore the woodland and play!

There are a range of play areas within the wood which the children will notice are there every week but which may be enhanced depending on the season or topic.

This planned provision means that the children can build up familiarity within the woods but experiment and build upon their learning each week.

We will end each session with a warm drink and stories or songs. During the colder months, this will be around the campfire with a yummy snack!

What to bring

It is important to wear the right clothing when outside, layers are key and make sure all the grown ups are also dressed appropriately- playing outside is much more fun if you feel comfortable!

There is nothing more comforting than being outside with a warm drink. At each session tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. After attending many playgroups, I am trialing bringing your own hot drinks mug, perhaps I am too much like Goldilocks but a personal cup is often "just right". Don't worry if you forget one, we will always have some spare!
