Welcome to Bramblewood! To ensure a smooth experience, please review our terms and conditions carefully before booking.

Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Bramblewood provides immersive outdoor experiences, including nature-based activities, workshops, and events designed to connect participants with the environment in a fun and educational way. Activities may include bushcraft, storytelling, and woodland exploration.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Once payment is made, refunds will only be given in extenuating circumstances. Please see the refund policy for more information.

4. Weather & Safety Considerations

  • If weather conditions are unsafe (e.g., high winds, storms), we may need to postpone your event. In such cases, we will:

    • Offer an alternative date

    • Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible​

5. Health & Safety Compliance

  • Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions that could impact their ability to safely participate in activities.

  • Bramblewood reserves the right to modify or restrict participation based on safety concerns.

6. Equipment & Property Use

  • Any equipment provided by Bramblewood must be used responsibly.

  • Participants will be held liable for damage caused by negligence or misuse.

7. Third-Party Vendors & Partnerships

  • If Bramblewood collaborates with third-party vendors (e.g.venue providers, additional activity providers), their terms may also apply.

  • Bramblewood is not responsible for third-party service failures.

8. Alcohol & Substance Policy

  • Alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited at Bramblewood events unless explicitly permitted.

  • Violation of this policy may result in removal from the event without a refund.

9. Indemnification Clause

Participants agree to hold Bramblewood harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in activities. By booking, you acknowledge that outdoor experiences carry inherent risks and accept responsibility for your own safety.

10. Force Majeure Clause

Bramblewood is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, emergencies, or other events beyond our control.

11. Intellectual Property Clause

All games, activities, and branding created by Bramblewood are protected intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Bramblewood complies with GDPR regulations, ensuring the safe collection, storage, and use of customer data. Any personal information provided during booking will be used solely for event coordination and communication.

13. Code of Conduct

To foster a respectful and enjoyable environment, all participants are expected to:

  • Follow safety guidelines provided by our facilitators

  • Respect nature and wildlife

  • Treat fellow attendees and staff with courtesy and cooperation
    Bramblewood reserves the right to remove participants who violate these guidelines without a refund.

14. Liability & Insurance

While we take all necessary precautions, Bramblewood is not liable for personal injuries or lost belongings during events. Participants should ensure they have appropriate personal insurance if desired.

15. Photography & Media Consent

  • We may take photographs or videos during events for promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in writing before the event.

16. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

​

16.1 Initial Resolution

  • Customers are encouraged to contact Bramblewood directly at bramblewood100@gmail.com to discuss any concerns before pursuing formal dispute resolution.​

​

16.2 Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

  • If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to engage in mediation or an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider before taking legal action.

  • Bramblewood will provide details of a certified ADR provider upon request, in line with the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes Regulations 2015.​

16.3 Arbitration

  • If mediation does not lead to a resolution, disputes may be settled through arbitration, governed by the Arbitration Act 1996.

  • The arbitrator’s decision will be legally binding unless otherwise agreed.​

​

16.4 Legal Proceedings & Governing Law

  • If no agreement is reached through ADR, disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, under English law.

  • Consumers retain the right to pursue legal action through the courts if preferred.

17. Accessibility & Special Accommodations

  • Bramblewood strives to be inclusive and will make reasonable accommodations for participants with disabilities.

  • Requests for accommodations must be made at least 7 days in advance.

​​

18. Changes to Booking

  • Any requested changes to your booking must be made at least 7 days in advance to allow for scheduling adjustments.

19. Legal Disclaimer

By participating in any Bramblewood event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

19.1 Assumption of Risk

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, weather conditions, and physical exertion. Participants voluntarily assume all risks.

​

19.2 Liability Waiver

Bramblewood, its staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, property damage, or losses incurred during events. Participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

​

19.3 Health & Medical Responsibility

  • Participants must ensure they are physically fit to engage in activities.

  • Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed before the event.

  • Bramblewood does not provide medical assistance beyond basic first aid.

​

19.4 Weather & Environmental Conditions

Bramblewood reserves the right to postpone, relocate, or cancel events due to unsafe conditions.

​

19.5 Equipment Use & Damage

Participants must use equipment responsibly and are liable for damage caused by negligence.

​

19.6 Photography & Media Release

Bramblewood may use event photographs for promotional purposes unless opted out in writing.

​

19.7 Compliance with Laws & Regulations

Participants must adhere to local laws, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines during events.

​

19.8 Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved under English jurisdiction.
